Tech Story
This watch looks playful.
Under the hood, it’s surprisingly serious.
The Cheshire Cat Watch is a custom-built character device: display, sensors, storage, power management, and software designed to make one creature feel alive.
What makes it different
Most “smart” products start with features.
This started with a personality.
The goal wasn’t utility. It was presence: subtle motion, expressive timing, and moments that feel intentional—like a character, not a screen.
Built as original hardware
This isn’t an off-the-shelf module in a novelty shell.
Inside is custom electronics designed specifically for this character—built to drive animation smoothly, respond to motion and interaction, and run reliably on the wrist.
A small computer with a quiet brain
The watch runs a purpose-built system that’s focused on one thing: making the Cat feel consistent and alive.
That means the software prioritizes:
- responsiveness
- timing and “character beats”
- power management (so the watch can be worn like a real object, not tethered to a charger)
Crafted in small runs
Each watch is assembled, tested, and finished in small batches - 200 numbered watches in total.
This isn’t mass production. It’s careful production.
If something ever feels off, you’ll talk to a real human — not a ticket system.
Not a smartwatch
It won’t count your steps.
It won’t interrupt your day.
It’s a collectible art object that happens to tell time—designed for people who want their technology to feel a little more human.
